Welcome to the Benton County Surveyor’s Office. The County Surveyor oversees and files surveys of property lines, property line adjustment surveys, partition and subdivision plats and maintains the restoration of property markers in Benton County. Survey Services

The Corner Restoration Program
- The Corner Restoration program is a long-term project being conducted by the Benton County Surveyor’s office.
- The purpose of the program is to mark and restore historical property markers throughout all of Benton County.

Record of Survey
The documents below outline the necessary standards for filing a Record of Survey or an Affidavit of Correction in Benton County. These standards include relevant Oregon Revised Statutes and Benton County Development Code pertaining to survey filings.
Property Line Adjustment (PLA)
The our office requires specific standards for filing a Property Line Adjustment Survey or an Affidavit of Correction in Benton County. Before filing, Property Line Adjustments must be approved by the Benton County Community Development Department or the relevant city planning department. These standards include the relevant Oregon Revised Statutes and Benton County Development Code.
Partition Plat
The office requires specific standards for filing a Partition Plat in Benton County or filing an Affidavit of Correction for a filed plat. The documents provided also contain information on notarizing plats and Consent Affidavits. These standards include relevant Oregon Revised Statutes and Benton County Development Code for partition plat filings.
Subdivision Plats
This office has set certain standards that must be met to file a Subdivision Plat or an affidavit of Correction to a plat that has already been filed in Benton County. The documents provided here contain all the necessary information about notarizing plats, Post Monument Affidavits, Reestablishment Affidavits, and Consent Affidavits. These standards have been developed by incorporating relevant Oregon Revised Statutes and Benton County Development Code for the filing of subdivision plats.
