Cascade View County Service District
The following fees are set by the district committee along with the BOC. Consumer Confidence Reports will be updated annually. For all payments, billing questions or to start/stop service, please contact the finance department at 541-766-6768.

Water Rates
Residential:
$43 for first 1,000 cubic feet
$1 per 100 cubic feet between 1,001 and 1,500 cubic feet
$1.50 per 100 cubic feet between 1,501 and 2,000 cubic feet
$2.75 per 100 cubic feet over 2,000 cubic feet
Capital Improvement and Major Maintenance Fund:
$5 per connection
Late Payment Fee:
$15 will be charged at the time of shut off notice, 45 days from original billing.
Excess Water Use Charges
Schedule A First Year
- Rate $10 per 100 cubic feet of use over 500 gpd
- If use is reduced, within 115% of maximum or less, you will remain in the first-year penalty rate for one additional year to meet compliance. Failure to achieve compliance in this extended penalty year will result in implementation of additional penalty phases as identified in schedule B.
Schedule B Second year
Penalty Phase I: The penalty fee for use over 2,000 cubic feet will double from $10 to $20 per 100 cubic feet
Penalty Phase II: Irrigation use will be restricted or terminated.
Penalty Phase III: Flow restrictions will be placed on the domestic water service line.
*Any or all of these phases could be recommended for implementation by the Advisory Committee.
If you meet the requirements by the end of any penalty period, billing will go back to regular service rates.
Exceptions: You are allowed a one-time yard establishment exception. The two highest months’ use will be substituted with a maximum use of 2,000 cubic feet for calculating annual usage for the exempted year. You pay for actual consumption during that time. Yard establishments are encouraged to take place in early spring or fall.
Other Fees
Service Meter Installation Charge:
$500 for 5/8 or 3/4 meter. Larger meters will be charged $500 plus the difference in cost of 3/4 meter and the larger meter.
Deposit:
$141 will be required for all customers who do not own the property being served.
Turn On-Turn Off:
$40 during normal business hours. After-hours, the fee will be actual cost for a minimum of 3 hours. Turn off fee will be waived for emergency shut offs or installation of a valve.
Fee for Tampering:
$100 plus the cost of repairs.
Committee Information
The Budget Committee meets during the County budget season. The Advisory Committee meets as needed.
