Apply for an AWPP Grant
Applications accepted Oct. 1 – Nov. 30 annually.
Farms of any size in Benton County can apply for up to $5,000 to fund the purchase of non-lethal deterrents to prevent conflicts with wildlife.
The AWPP does not fund deterrents for deer, elk or wild turkey.
Labor costs are not reimbursable, but may be applied towards the required 10% match.
Emergency Grants: If you have lost livestock, crops or property to wild predators or beaver in the last 60 days, you may qualify to apply for an emergency grant. We encourage you to contact us at awpp@bentoncountyor.gov or call 541-766-6293 before applying.
